Gratitude for a wonderful year

I’m in absolute gratitude for an amazing 2019 year of weddings and beautiful music. It was a pleasure to work with wonderful brides, grooms, sisters, and mothers and to witness so many beautiful ceremonies. I love the opportunity to travel to countless gorgeous outdoor locations and venues. Throughout the wedding season, there are many new places that I get to visit for the first time. It’s a treat to feed my adventurous spirit and look forward to visiting again with my family. The musicians that I work with are wonderful: kind, thoughtful, adventurous, fun, and professional, and make excellent companions for the afternoon. It’s always an honor to meet new wedding professionals and work cooperatively, then see them again later in the season. In Maine, there is an incredible network of wedding professionals who love working together to create the most memorable and seamless weddings. We also love learning new songs, both classical and popular/contemporary to add to our repertoire. I find myself humming catchy tunes throughout the week after, while remembering the beautiful ceremony from the weekend. Thank you to all the brides, grooms, families, and wedding professionals that I cross paths with this past season.
